COOL APP FOR VOCABULARY BUILDING

I'm always on the lookout for the great mobile apps. I found this simple and useful vocabulary building app- IntelliVocab (previously PowerVocab) for iPhones/Androids/iPad/BlackBerry. This app could be really useful not only to all the GMAT/GRE/SAT takers but also to all others who are striving hard to improve their vocabulary especially from a non-English speaking countries.

NO HALTS PLEASE:IPHONE APPS

It’s was a Sunday evening and I reached the grocery store but only to discover a long queue at the store. Helplessly, I joined the line, but thinking what m I going to do for the next 15-20minutes in this queue. Suddenly, the gentleman in front of me took out his cellphone, it was Apple’s iPhone. He started scrolling through various applications on his iphone. Sometimes giggling, sometimes thinking, the gentleman kept playing with his iPhone and passed his time.

Yes iPhones, which in the last few years have become the full fledged computers with hundreds of applications running on them, let people relieve the boredom of the grocery store lines, exercising, traffic jams or lulls in the dinner conversations. The iPhone applications make the tiniest of the halts in one’s life entertaining, and many a times potentially productive. The research studies showcase the fact very clearly that iPhone users spend a great amount of time playing with the iPhone applications rather than talking on the phone, this also justifies the huge popularity of the iPhone applications among the iPhone users.

POWERVOCAB IS NOW INTELLIVOCAB

Due to copy write issues, PowerVocab has been renamed to IntelliVocab. In order to overcome the copy write issues the developers of the best vocabulary building iPhone application have released the 1.5 version of PowerVocab with the new name of “IntelliVocab”.

In a personal interview from east coast of USA the founder of IntelliVocab (previously PowerVocab) Irfan Mohammed confirmed that the copy write issues forced him to change the name of the coolest vocabulary building app from PowerVocab to IntelliVocab. He also mentioned that the new release i.e. version 1.5 will also ensure IntelliVocab to differentiate from PowerVocab on Android. Meanwhile, he also shared the good news that Faqden Labs is very close to porting IntelliVocab (previously PowerVocab) to Android in few weeks. Hence, the company is keenly looking forward to taking over the Android market place as well. I think this is simply a super news. Now the coolest vocabulary building IPhone application will soon be running on Android….Wow!! Also, I feel the new name is a little geeky but no complaints :0).

POWERVOCAB RENAMED TO INTELLIVOCAB

Hello people, I just got an update from the developers of the best vocabulary building Iphone application that the latest version of the IntelliVocab (previously PowerVocab Version: 1.4.1) is live. The makers of the IntelliVocab (previously PowerVocab), Faqden, claims to have overcome the crash issue that was reported by few users while updating the application from the Apple iTunes store.



The CEO of Faqden, Irfan Mohammed, in a direct interview from Cambridge, Massachusetts said-"With our recent release we have improved the analytics and made the app more smart to help aid you better in your preparation. Also, we now have a visual representation of your progress, which you can access via the Progress Report tab on the app. There were some intermittent but rare crash issues in version 1.4 which we have addressed with the new release. Be sure to update to version 1.4.1 and if you havent tried it yet, try it now".
